How to get to Parrys RV Park
Parksville is located on the sheltered east coast of Vancouver Island, 37km (23m) north of Nanaimo on Highway #19, or 148km (92m) north of Victoria. The area is serviced by bus, rail, and 8 daily ferries from Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen) to Nanaimo (Departure Bay or Duke Point ). See Ferries below for more information. Our Geographical location: 49°18'45.54"N = 49.31265 124°17'7.80"W = -124.2855 Access from the south: take the Island Highway #19 from Victoria, Ladysmith, or Nanaimo. Turn right at the first turn-off for Parksville (Exit #46) onto Highway #19A. Follow #19A for 3.7km (2.3m), than turn left onto Martindale Road, just after crossing the orange Englishman River bridge. It's a short 25 minute drive from Nanaimo, or 1 hour and 45 minutes from Victoria. Access from the north: take the Island Highway #19 to the first Parksville turn-off (Exit #51), after 0.6km (0.4m) at the Stop sign, turn left onto Highway #4A. After 0.9km (0.6m) cross the railroad tracks and continue on #4A into Parksville. 1.7km (1.1m) after the railroad crossing, #4A ends at a traffic signal in downtown Parksville. Turn right onto Highway #19A and after 1.9km (1.2m) turn right onto Martindale Road just before the orange Englishman River bridge. Total distance from Highway #19 turn-off to Martindale Road is 5.1km (3.2m). Driving Directions to Parrys RV Park using MapQuest Ferries: travel to Parksville is fun, convenient and relaxing. BC Ferries (888-BCFERRY www.bcferries.com ) provides fast, frequent service carrying passengers and every class of vehicle. Take the BC Ferry from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo(Duke Point) and 40 minutes after disembarking you are in Parksville.
